The award winning Dorset Hideaway is a small luxury secluded Camping, Caravanning and Glamping site, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near to the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site Of West Dorset.

Only three miles from the main tourist route into the region, it offers unrivalled and uninterrupted views across unspoilt countryside and farmland with the highest hills in inland Dorset as a panoramic backdrop.

Guests can enjoy first class facilities in the new contemporary Award winning Amenity building with underfloor heating and music in the background. Sockets for your own appliances. A family washroom and disabled wet room. A chemical toilet emptying room with hot water to basin and soap to make the not so nice tasks that bit easier.

Take the digital detox and spend quality family time, playing games hired from reception or toasting marshmallows around one of our hired firepits. As we are a ‘dark skies’ site why not borrow our glow in the dark star map and do some star gazing whilst sat in front of the firepit. Relax and unwind. With low lighting you might want to bring a torch and sensible shoes.

There is a hot tub to hire to soak in after doing one of the circular walks direct from the site (Some have pub in the middle for more relaxing!) or why not book a therapeutic massage the on site Spa to rub away those aches and pains.

We have a resident artist who can tailor any class to suit your needs or abilities either in small groups or one to one.

In high season we offer tractor trailer rides, a 'pop-up' bar and take away cafe, there are tug of war competitions and family quiz nights in the barn. There are table games in the barn too. A small fenced play area and separate balance game area for the older ones.

There is a separate dog exercise area completely fenced with poop bin and bags.
