Website Mena Farm

A family and doggy-friendly campsite in the heart of Cornwall. Huge camping pitches with hard-standing and EHU on offer, a great children's play area, and a games barn with a TV lounge, pool table, ping pong, air hockey and lots of books and games - but no clubhouse. Our campers love Mena due to its peace, seclusion and wildlife. Modern shower blocks, and great washing up/laundry facilities are available, with solar-heated water freely available.

Mena Farm comprises 15 acres of beautiful Cornish countryside, with 45 touring pitches for caravans, campervans, motorhomes and tents. We have a number of hard-standing pitches and around half of our pitches have EHU. Our 4-acre, main camping field is well-laid out for privacy and space. Most of our family campers love that the play area is in the centre of the field, so parents can relax whilst supervising the children from afar. This also means the play area is remote enough that there is little disturbance to those without children. We offer a range of accommodation at Mena - three bell tents sleeping up to four, three lotus belle tents sleeping up to two (adults only), two static caravans sleeping up to six, and the old farmhouse which sleeps up to six. Or if you want a little more seclusion, you can go wild-camping in our rear meadows - perfect for enjoying the most incredible sunsets over the valley.

We love doggies at Mena, it is doggy-heaven here as we have 11 acres of meadows, woodlands and ponds to explore, but we only welcome happy, friendly doggies and owners.

Mena is a haven for wildlife, if you're lucky you may spot hedgehogs, badgers, foxes, deer, rabbits, or birds such as herons, woodpeckers, kingfishers, owls and birds of prey. There is no light pollution here as we're on the edge of Bodmin Moor, so great for star-gazing, although you will definitely need to bring a torch! Children will love our two Kune Kune pigs, Rodney and Del-Boy, and can help collect the eggs from our lovely chickens.

We have modern shower blocks with solar-heated (free) hot showers, washing up and laundry facilities, a games barn with a pool table, ping pong, table football, air hockey, TV lounge, books and games, plus an on-site shop stocked with all the essentials. During the peak Summer months, we have weekly visits from a local popup pizza van, cocktail bar and coffee lounge. There is no clubhouse here, and those wishing to party are encouraged to find somewhere better suited to their requirements - our campers love Mena due to it's beautiful, peaceful and secluded location.

Further afield

Mena is just 1.5 miles from the village of Lanivet, the official centre of Cornwall, which means you can explore every inch of the county within an hour of the site. We're conveniently located for the A30, but far-enough away not to be disturbed by traffic noise. We're just 3 miles from the beautiful National Trust property, Lanydrock House, 6 miles from the Eden Project, 8 miles from Cardinham Woods, and we're surrounded by walking and cycling trails which can be accessed directly from the site. You can join the Camel Trail from Mena, and we're exactly at the mid-point of the Saints Way between Padstow and Fowey. Being at the heart of Cornwall is perfect, as we're just 20 minutes from both North and South coasts - just take a look at the weather forecast, and you can decide which direction to head in.
