Very tidy CL
First time here and it is won't be the last, the CL is a fairly large level grassed area surrounded by established hedges and trees. The whole area is kept immaculate with striped grass! Obviously a lot of care is taken by the owner. Basic CL facilities, electric and elsan point and you get a key for the main gate on arrival.
Access to the CL is good and there is enough space to drive in and wait before being let into the CL so you aren't left overhanging the road. From the CL you can visit Battlesbridge antiques, about 10mins drive and there is a mini market very close. All in all a nice a CL

FIND ANOTHER CAMPSITE!!!!!!
June 1st to June 8th 2012. Just got back home from this campsite. Booked last September, paid up in full a month ago for electric hook up on grass pitch. Arrived late on Friday to find that our pitch had been given to others and that we were not on the list! Showed security our receipt He then gave us pitch with a sharp slope! Went out Saturday for shopping at Swanage came back to find half of pitch taken up with another tent! and could not access to park car next to trailer tent due to several other tents and cars in the way. Site was over crowded even in the two extra fields that were opened up, this over loaded the already meager toilet/ shower facilitys. Saturday night could not get to sleep until 2.30am due to shouting, music and swearing from neirbouring pitch. Site sells bags of logs for burning on grass, with tents/ caravans/ cars packed so closely together this could have been very dangerouse had a fire caught a tent. Monday night, more noise until 2am from a large group of caravans who had coralled themselves around a bonfire! The field for electric hook up has only 6amp supply (this has just been installed this year), the cable supplying hook ups is only 4mm. This results in voltage drop occurring over long cable distances, (I am an Electriction, so I know these things) which means your van electrics do not work properly, ie kettles take ages, 12v transformers shut down, water heaters take ages etc. Lastly, my Wife and I are in our mid 50's, We have camped since we met at 20 with our four children and many of their friends, I would have to say that at peak times this site is not family friendly and more suited to the Halfords camping brigade than seriouse campers who enjoy open spaces for their children to play.

Best Holiday Ever for Our Family.
A truly fab site, really relaxed, the kids can safely ride their bikes, playing in the park etc. while the parents relax. Always very clean with helpful friendly staff. We went last year that the kids want to go this year and have booked again and dont know why anyone would want to go anywhere else. The best part was paying a extra £2 on top of the entry price for the zoo and could go in everyday anytime for the whole stay of our holiday, which the kids loved as they could collect the different medals to show their friends. Has a shop at the entrance that has all the essentials for everyday, some other little shops, a bar and a fanastic fish and chip shop too.

An Ideal Location Whatever the Weather
Once again our family have visited this wonderful little site in South Cheshire, there have been a few changes since our last visit, all for the better I might add, not that it needed them but it's just brought it all up to scratch, the new Elsan point is now at the end of the field with the rubbish recycling and is separated from the drinking water supply by a fence, the toilet block is ample with three cubicles for the amount of campers even with one shower and a small washroom. Loads of space for the kids to ride their bikes and a huge field for them to play well away from the caravans to give elder campers some peace! This is a working dairy farm and as long as kids are well behaved the lovely people who own / run this site will usually accomodate in letting the kids have a look at the milking process in the early evening. We plan to visit again at least a few more tmes this year... nearest pub about 5 miles away, but, so what? Why not relax and have a drink in your own caravan and admire the beautiful views.
Put this little gem in your favorites!

Couldn't ask for more....
Excellent site, we loved it and so did our dogs!! Superb dog walk on site, excellent pitches and peaceful location. Andrew (site owner) very helpful and friendly, would definitely recommend to other CC members! Poldu beach is good, as is the adjacent Gunwalloe Church Cove - lots of little inlets to explore at low tide. The welcome pack, with fresh eggs and a jar of preserve is a really nice touch. The curry company in Mullion is well worth checking out as well!!

Great
A lovely clean and tidy site with very friendly owners. Lots of walks along the river and through the woods and fields.Very dog friendly. Close to Chelmsford for shopping and also Maldon which is great for children. Local pubs and fish and chip shops. Close to a rural road but still peaceful.

Deers Glade 2011
We stayed at Deers Glade for 7 nights. Wife went to reception to get us booked in, Just in case i had to move the car. We were guided to our pitch by the owners daughter on her bike. Pitch was quite large.
Once pitched up we had a quick walk around to get localised with the facilities.
Both the toilets and shower blocks were immaculate.
The site was clean and tidy. We were in amongst other vanners and tents. The place had a good friendly feel to it.
But beware at night, you need a good torch. To me not enough lighting. But then again you don't want a lot of light if you in a tent....
Plenty of water points & waste water points.
Not much of a phone signal if you need to be in contact with the outside world, but they do have wifi....
We would gladly go again if holidaying in the area.

My Review of Red Lion Farm
Red Lion Farm actually consists of three site all situated within a working dairy farm, the farm produces ice cream in many flavours that is well know.
The farm is located 4.4 miles west of Stafford so an ideal location when visiting Stafford Castle, Alton Towers, Drayton Manor Park, Shugbrough Estate, Cannock Chase, Tamworth Snow Dome.
