We were amazed that the site had 4 star rating. The toilets are clean and one block is well heated but many of the showers were poor or not working, locks missing . They were average and no more. When we arrived they had lost the booking. Our general impression was that the site is being run for the owners convenience rather than ours. Shop not open until 9.00 -for breakfast! Reception office lacks warmth and is rarely open. The site was full when we got there - and empty when we left early. I was surprised by this as it was May and weather was good. The usual older caravanners who fill the sites up mid wek were not there although we would not go again unless it was essential as the ste is close to family. ]]> Thu, 05 May 2011 09:22:44 -0600
