Wife went to reception to get us booked in, Just in case i had to move the car. We were guided to our pitch by the owners daughter on her bike. Pitch was quite large.
Once pitched up we had a quick walk around to get localised with the facilities.
Both the toilets and shower blocks were immaculate.
The site was clean and tidy. We were in amongst other vanners and tents. The place had a good friendly feel to it.
But beware at night, you need a good torch. To me not enough lighting. But then again you don't want a lot of light if you in a tent....
Plenty of water points & waste water points.
Not much of a phone signal if you need to be in contact with the outside world, but they do have wifi....
We would gladly go again if holidaying in the area.

We stayed in our tent. The site was very clean & lovely. Would recomend it to everyone. I have 3 kids (they were 5,13 and 15 at the time) they really enjoyed it. Gr8 entertainement in the eve's and the swimming pool was lovely as well. There is also a Tesco's nearby the site which took about 5mins to walk there or 1 min (very handy).

Will be going again asap

The site is adjacent to the River Chet and boats are on the water all the time. Maybe a bit close to water for very small children. Good layout, but at end of week, too many vans too close together as part of site not in use. No groundsheets allowed, making use of bed extension no possible. Site location great. Easy access into Great Yarmouth/Broads. The village centre has a variety of shops/banks/cafes/takeaways. Four pubs serving food. A playpark is 5 mins walk away with a range of play equipment. We let our 11 and 9 year old go alone and were quite safe. The towns of Beccles and Bungay are within easy reach of the site and Norwich is half an hour away. Use the park and ride facility.

The pitches get boggy when the ground is wet and are fairly cramped in size with a lot of caravans close together.

Big problems with power while we were there, it kept tripping off and there was often no hot water in the toilet/shower block. There was a problem with the generator which should now have been repaired/replaced.

Toilets and showers, while not bad, were not as clean as they could have been although a combination of a full site and a muddy weekend contributed to this, I'm sure.

Good areas for walking or cycling and a good play area for the kids in the woods. Archery, circus workshop, easter egg hunt and bird box making were all enjoyed by the kids.

Use of the leisure centre (including swimming pool) is expensive, so we didn't bother. We didn't use the restaurant either but saw the meals being served to others and they looked good. The two bars were pleasant, one quiet , one with entertainment. The quiet bar did seem to get very smokey however.

I would go to Kelling Heath again but would go later in the season when there is more likelihood of warm weather and drier ground.

We were very impressed with the overall layout...and exceptional cleanliness of the whole site. It only caters for approx 35-40 vans..some are positioned on an upper level to gain a view of the site below. There is small shop open daily...The Toilets and Showers were kept immaculate.
Each Van is positioned on Hard standing with car to the left by your Awning.
They do allow Dogs for a small fee. There is a dedicated Walk along the top of the site..which is very nice and you can look down on the site as you walk around.
The owners were very pleasant and helpful...We stayed for 8 nights..and would certainly go back.

I haven't any negative points about this well kept site. It is also near to some very good beaches and the Broads.
