For a group of adult friends, if you hired all 3 yurts together (and if they had different beds in them) it would be great.
We were a party of 7, squeezed into a yurt which would comfortably sleep 4. I really wish the owners had said to me when I enquired about booking that there really wasn't space for 7 of us.
Having stayed in other yurts in Devon, I can tell you these are not luxury yurts as it suggests on the web site. The most unfortunate thing about our stay was the beds. They were soooo uncomfortable. The owners have chosen to buy cheap futons with very thin mattresses, through which we could feel every single wooden slat of the base. I was woken up every time I turned over,by the discomfort. I came home with slight bruising to both hips - not the kind of holiday memories you hope for.
On the plus side....
The compost toilet was fantastic, really loved it. Liked the eco friendly aura of the place too.
What can I say? Get some different beds, stop calling this a luxury yurt holiday, and lower your prices to reflect this. I have paid £100 a night to stay in yurts which were bigger, had more privacy and had fixed, really comfortable beds.
There is potential for these yurts to offer people a great get away, with just a few changes.

The site prefers visitors without cars but with 5 kids and all the baggage that goes with them this was not an option and unfortunately we had to park away from the yurts and lug all our bags over to the yurt in the rain. Because we arrived after 7pm due to accident on the motorway, we were not greeted by the owners and never saw anyone the whole time we were there. We had only 1 tiny solar powered light and candles, it was hard to unpack and get the kids ready for bed and make up beds in such dim light. The Futon beds were the worst beds I have ever slept on and had an awful 2 nights sleep, you could feel every wooden slat through the mattresses. The compost toilet wasn't as bad as I expected but was abit of a jaunt in the pitch black and wet, we were constantly changing the kids clothes and shoes as the grass is long in the field. You wouldn't know that you were on a farm apart from the sheep in a nearby field but we have been there and done it but won't be doing it again. The only difference to this and proper camping was the fact that you haven'tt got to put your own tent up. Give me my airbed any day ! This should be advertised as not for the faint hearted.

We stay in a caravan on a large pitch with an auning and we still have lots of room on the pitch even with the car. We have only ever stayed in field 4 the block it very big and clean but it can get cold in the early months because the doors dont shut.

The activities and stuff are good they have 3 parks, heated inside pool, petorama (a hude indoor barn where you can get up close and personal with the animals like rabbits), crazy golf and my favourite the riding stables. They offer hacks and lessons for all ages and abilities, at a cheap price and for different time ranges from 1/2 hour to 4 hours. I am an experienced rider and i strongly recommend the 1, 2 and 4 hour hacks where you trot and canter and gallop! buts its optional if you want you can just walk. The horses are really nice and friendly and love a good groom!! The owners of the stables David and his partner are very nice and understanding and all th staff are very experienced.

the staff are really nice i know them all really well as my grandparents work there they are more than happy to help with any of your problems from collapsed aunings to escaping tortoises (yes tht really happened) and they will quite often say hello wen they are doing there jobs around the site

The on site shop is very useful we buy some of our groceries there its very good price and sells everything, the chipy is really good the food is sensational and if you go you just have to try a battered mars bar! it doesnt sound nice but give it a try you might like it. Often in high season the chippy is packed at around teatime (5-7pm) so you might want to get in there early

overall its a brilliant site perfect for families like mine and really fun and enjoyable! very clean and tidy and i really really recommend you visit there to have the time of your life

There were no shops, bar or restaurants onsite. The nearest pub was 1.5 miles away. The nearest shop to our knowledge was approx 5 miles.

The staff in reception were friendly and helpful. We set up on one of the relatively flat ,large, pitches. There were 2 large shower/toilet blocks, but very little hot water in the block near reception, and a separate toilet block.

The childrens play area was well equiped and central. They have a large bar/nightclub with free entertainment most evenings and just beside that is a reasonable takeaway.

The onsite shop was well stocked especially with camping and caravan accessories. There is a large indoor heated pool and an outdoor pool both with slides and both with lifeguards. The site itself is large, clean, and very easy to get to, with a field put aside for campers.
