We soent three glorious days there over easter in the sunshine. It really makes you wonder why anyone wants to go abroad. The whole site is very well kept and clean and my wife was most mpressed with the extensive vegetable garden, there was plenty space to excercise the dog and there was even a mini footie poitch for the kids. Being of borders ancerstry we spent much of the time touring around some of the hsitorical sites related to the border reivers and the anglo-scottish wars. The Hermitage Castle was particularly stunning. I'd recommend this site to anyone wanting to visit the scottish boders or as a stop over heading north... we will certailny be back for a longer stay over the summer. It is quite exposed and storm guys are strongly recommended for awnings. The toilet rooms are very clean, but there is only one toilet for men and two for ladies so a wait may be expected at busy times.
