Its proximity to the mountains also makes it a marvellous base for hill walkers. An ideal location for a relaxing break convenient for working, swimming, horse riding and many other attractions. Pets welcome. A water and drainage point is situated at one end of the touring area, close to the toilet and shower facilities, together with a chemical disposal point. With the fortunate location of Meelmore Lodge just a short walk from the higher Mournes, the facilities available at our campsite are ideal for family holidays and those taking part in The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. The main campsite consists of over two acres of land and has been used in the past for the Mourne Mountain Marathon in 2002.

Located safely and quietly at the bottom of the park, each pitch has a spectacular view of the Mourne Mountains and surrounding countryside. All pitches are on hard level standing. Awning sites have gravel to the side. Each pitch has it's own water, electric and waste disposal point. Voltage on each pitch is 10amps. The log cabin toilet block house the ladies and gents washroom and showers.

A newly constructed enclosed play area with safety surface and a tennis court are amongst the excellent facilities available on this park. All static caravans are owner occupied.
