Town Farm is a working farm nestled at the foot of the Chiltern Hills and has been run by the Leach family since the early 1930s. About 1,000 sheep are farmed on the Beacon Hill and surrounding high ground, while the lower fields are used for crop cultivation. The `Pick Your Own` opens in June and guests can take a picnic and stock up on fruit and vegetables. The farm enjoys fantastic views of the surrounding countryside including the local landmark - Ivinghoe Beacon, which marks the start of the famous Ridgeway Walk. The newly established 'Golden Grove' leisure park for touring caravans and motorhomes is bright sunny south facing site offering plenty of privacy and peace for your stay. - The site is surrounded by mature parkland trees and have been recently landscaped with Lime Tree avenues, swathes of daffodils. - Choice of grass and hard standing pitches. The hard standing area is extensive with easy turning for the largest of motor homes. - New Eurobollards supplying electricity, water and illumination from one place. - Open all year. - Adults only to maintain the peace and quiet of the site. We are a family run touring caravan site in North West Essex. For 17 years we were a Caravan Club certificated location, but since 1997 we have been a licensed site for 15 touring caravans, with Uttlesford District Council. We have a quiet site situated on a working farm with easy access by a 70 feet wide gateway through the farmyard. The well maintained level pitches all have 240 volt electric 'hook-up'. There is a centrally located water tap, a dustbin area and fire point to one side and a chemical closet emptying point with tap away from the site and screened by a leylandi hedge.Trees and a mixed variety low hedge, screen the pitches from the road and farm buildings making it a safe site for families.

We offer a tranquil setting in open countryside exclusively for adults only next door to the National Trust Wicken Fen Wildfowl Centre. A rural atmosphere within twenty acres of paddocks, divided into landscaped fields by hedgerows with spacious pitches. Stanford Park is centrally located for visiting many attractions in the area, including Cambridge University, Ely Cathedral and Newmarket Races. Excellent for cycling, dog walking and fishing.
