With the fortunate location of Meelmore Lodge just a short walk from the higher Mournes, the facilities available at our campsite are ideal for family holidays and those taking part in The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.

The main campsite consists of over two acres of land and has been used in the past for the Mourne Mountain Marathon in 2002.

The campsite has running water facilities and also has the advantage of being situated right at the foot of the Mourne Mountains; just a moments walk from the Trassey Track. Unfortunately we do not permit dogs onto the site, with the only exception being in the case of guide dogs.

We would like to stress that our campsite is predominately used for families and we would encourage other campers to be courteous of this. Meelmore Lodge retains the right to remove anyone from the grounds, due to complaints arising from their behaviour, by other campers and/or staff.

Caravans/Campervans

The campsite unfortunately has no electrical link up facilities suitable for caravans, however, we are pleased to accommodate those who wish to stay in their caravans.
