Marthrown of Mabie is situated in the heart of Mabie Forest, Dumfries and Galloway providing a selection of unique and unusual styles of accommodation, catering for groups of any type or size. Marthrown of Mabie features a Tipi , a Yurt ideal for 'Glamping' in southern Scotland, a Bunkhouse , Woodland Camping and our famous Roundhouse – come and take a look around; you will find simply - something different

Tucked away in the forest we have a woodland camping area. As part of the site there is an outdoor (but private) hot shower, a dry composting loo and urinal all set in beautiful wooden buildings.

Marthrown of Mabie is right in the heart of the forest, away from the hustle and bustle of the world. Although only a few miles from the region's capital town of Dumfries, Marthrown of Mabie is completely surrounded by forest and this makes the sounds of modern life disappear.

Marthrown of Mabie is a great spot to relax and unwind, with a sauna and hot tub on site. It is also perfect as a base for 7stanes mountain biking and other activities such as road cycling, walking & hiking or nature breaks.
