nice clean toilets
Most of the site is retirement bungalows and the drive has a barrier after 7pm so very quiet and secure.
Touring area is a small compound with 10 long thin pitches - these are narrow so that a car will not fit alongside the van. There is then a narrow piece of grass with bushes dividing up the pitches so not much fun for sitting out as you are very close to your neighbours! No views other than the fence!!
Most of the people seemed to be regulars or long term stayers but were friendly.
Toilets were half the block that used to be used when it was a bigger site. This means that there were 3 toilets and 3 showers (unisex) which was fine for the 10 pitches. Very clean showers and toilets although fairly old.
Sewage and water on pitch which was handy.
Sainsburys a couple of miles away.
Dog walk on site - short and lots of poo despite the provision of a bin. Access off the drive to the woods which are nicer to walk in.

ok but pricey
Pitches were easy to get on to but it had no atmosphere as it was mostly bungalows so caravans seemed to be tolerated rather than welcomed. woods nice. expensive for what it is. difficult to judge from the website what you are getting as no pictures of pitches so maybe we expected too much for the price -june 2011
