Description

If you are visiting Yorkshire's East Coast, why not pop in for a visit & try our wonderful award-wining ice cream made here on our own farm!

Here at mr moo's we have an enclosed, grass site with electric hook ups.

During the wetter months of the year, when the grass site is closed,  we have electric hook ups at the far end of our large car park, thus enabling the site to remain open throughout the year.

Please Note:

Although every care is taken to ensure accuracy, please check details with the campsite prior to booking.

Great central location for visits to Scarborough, Bridlington etc... and only 40 minutes from York and Flamingo Land. I have now stayed here 2 years running and would recommend it to anyone especially families as there is a large flat enclosed field for the kids to play in safely. The ice cream parlour is excellent with friendly staff and great tasting ice cream of many wonderful flavours, they also do light lunches at resonable prices. I have found the easiest route is via the A 165 onto the B 1249 through Beeford and onto Skipsea. The only thing i think is missing is maybe a shower block, but for £9.75 (2010 prices) per night with hook up you can't go wrong. I will be visiting for many years to come.

This site is well placed for the East Coast, being just a couple of miles from Hornsea, and bit further from Bridlington. The site has 5 grass pitches in a gated area, well spaced out with neatly cut grass, bins and CDP, fresh water points nearby. There are also 3 hardstandings available in adverse weather, but these are actually part of the ice cream parlour car park. There are toilet facilities during opening hours and a key (deposit required) for after hours. It is a little near the road, (late night racetrack) but wouldn't let it put you off. Access is a little hairey if approaching from Hornsea, so would recommend approach from Beeford.

The ice cream parlour on site is lovely, consisting of tea room, picnic tables and lovely snacks/teas and ice cream. There is a walk directly from the site to the beach, around 10 minute stroll, from where you can walk along the cliff/beach to Skirlington Market on a Sunday.
