Imagine waking to the perfect sea view from high up on the rugged Yorkshire coast. You can make it a reality on a Blue Dolphin holiday. Add in the indoor SportsDrome, Multi-Sports Court and a massive indoor fun palace, not to mention the indoor and outdoor pools complete with TumbleWave slide, and you can see why this is the ideal UK holiday for active groups.
There’s 380 touring pitches in beautifully spacious grassy areas with a modern, recently refurbished shower block. And to top it all the Cleveland Way borders the Park, providing the opportunity for great walks and stunning views.

The entertainment was good
We stayed in 2004 in our trailer tent. The reception was welcoming and the pitch easy to locate. The touring field is located away from the main site and the entertainment facilities were a good 10 minute walk. The field is quite exposed and on hill with sloping pitches. The toilet facilities were vandalised when we visited, cracked mirrors, no plugs, mud smeared on the walls. Obviously the work of the less respectful children on the site.
The indoor pool was always overcrowded and the changing facilities too small. It was too cold to use the outdoor pool. Facilities I thought were a bit grubby and the takeaway food of a poor reheated quality.
The entertainment was good, but as with these places you had to get a seat by 7pm or not get one at all.
All in all we wouldn't return to this site.

A big site
Myself & my family spent 4 nights at the blue dolphin during the month of june 04,the site is one of the largest sites we have stayed at,but i`d say the site is mainly taking up with statics, the touring pitches were set into two areas, the area we were pitched at was on a slight incline and due to the ruts made from other vans previous we did have problems levelling the van.
The shower block was situated approx 12 yeards from our pitch and the door was opened via a electronic card that was given to you on arrival
