Description
Set in a farm of about 20 hectares, the main campsite field is sheltered all round with thirty level pitches. An additional field of sixty pitches is available in high season, with good views of the moors and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.
Please note that these site fields have no electric hook-ups.
Generators may be used provided they are reasonably quiet and not used during unsociable hours. Please switch off by 8pm.
The farm is situated in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and is an ideal base for walking, cycling or simply relaxing on site or in the village of Goathland, a few minutes walk away.
The farm is a mix of arable and livestock, so please keep dogs on a lead at all times. Access to additional viewpoints along the railway can be made by arrangement with the owners. Please do not trespass on the railway.
Goathland is served by the North Yorkshire Moors Railway (station is about 15 minutes walk from the campsite), which runs along the valley from Grosmont, south to Pickering, a small but busy market town.
Please Note:
Although every care is taken to ensure accuracy, please check details with the campsite prior to booking.
Please mention Touring and Tenting if you book or visit the campsite
