We have just returned from a long weekend at Sheepcote Valley.
We came down to Brighton to attend a Graduation and chose the Caravan Club site as we are members of the Camping & Caravan Club and thought we would be guaranteed 'civilised' camping.
We have used Caravan Club sites before, they are expensive but it’s a price we are happy to pay because you can, to a certain degree, count on the facilities.
While the area available for camping was lovely, the facilities were nearby and, had the site been set out with marked pitches at the usual Caravan Club pitch size, adequate.
There are notices everywhere to pitch 6 meters away, the wardens were insistent on it at reception. Pity they didn't bother checking.
Got the distinct impression they didn't care about the campers & just jammed us in. All 3 fields were the same.
They must have made a fortune this weekend. There were large groups of noisy, drunk single-sex campers often returning at 3 or 4am and no one interested enough to care.
The toilet/shower facilities were not big enough for the resulting number of campers packed into those 3 areas. One morning there wasn’t even any water for a shower.

Shame on you Caravan Club...We came to Sheepcote Valley not Glastonbury.
