Description
Set within the confines of a former quarry, the Park is both sheltered and secluded by a wooded surrounding embankment. It has been extensively landscaped with woodland walks and offers level, well drained pitches.
There are numerous country parks within the area. For walkers, Gate House Wood is situated within minutes of the Weald Way and close to the Pilgrims Way, the ancient footpath early Christians used to reach Canterbury Cathedral. While a short walk will take you to the Standing Stones at Coldrum (with 2 pubs on route).
