Description

Alderstead Heath Caravan Club Site has a picturesque setting that you and your family will find ideal for a relaxing holiday break. Surrounded by rolling wooded countryside and situated on the Pilgrims Way, there are many lovely walking trails - in particular across the North Downs - to explore at your leisure. The caravan site offers the best of both worlds - the proximity of its location to London (a mere 35 minutes from Redhill Station) - makes this a great choice as a base to explore the non-stop activities of the capital.

All pitches are level at Alderstead Heath Caravan Club Site to ensure your maximum comfort and convenience. Golfing enthusiasts will be delighted as there are several golf courses in the immediate area.

We stayed on this site over May Day.

When they say it's quiet - it really is - you really can't hear the M25. There are a mixture of hard and grass pitches - the hard standing pitches are huge!

There are two play areas for kids - they looked new or very well maintained, but as we were pitched the other side of the site, can't confirm either of the above.

The literature says the site is flat, however, we had to use chocks, as did many of the units we saw - but it's not hugely uneven.

The dog walk is actually a public footpath, and leads to further walks, however, the "circular dog walk" is absolutely brilliant, and at this time of year when the Bluebells are out, it is beautiful.

I only saw one motorhome service point, but it wasn't overly busy, with water/waste points dotted around the site.

Toilet blocks were good, as to be expected on a CC site.

The site is locked via a computer system and raised "ramps", and are secured overnight, although I did see the exit open overnight to allow those who had to leave for work early to get out.

The wardens were extremely friendly and chatty, and were willing to help out as much as possible.

I will definitely be making a return visit, and would wholeheartedly recommend the site!
