he fourteenth-century farmhouse, once besieged by irate Roundheads in the Civil War, is the focal point of the site and all the farm buildings have been adapted for your use. The farmyard where the herd of Devon longhorn cattle used to wait to be milked is now more likely to see gatherings of caravanners watching Morris Dancing or enjoying a barbecue - we have no club house on site but hold several events during the season and have two excellent local inns within walking distance.
