Description
This premier 5 star family park is situated within walking distance of the picturesque fishing port of St. Ives and is the perfect location to explore the West Cornwall peninsula. With stunning views of the Cornish coastline from St Ives Bay to Trevose Head, some 40 miles away, Polmanter makes an ideal location for touring caravans and family camping.
St Ives offers a range of interests to the visitor. Its quaint cobbled streets flanked by picturesque fishermans’s cottages give away its history of the sea. In past years fishing was the prime economy in St. Ives and the port still boasts a small fishing fleet which catch a range of “fruits of the sea” that can be seen landed daily on the quay. There are many art galleries in the town which still has a thriving artists’ colony.
