Description

Deer's Glade Caravan and Camping Park is an exciting venture which opened in 2004.  It is a quiet, rural, family-run caravan park and camping site set in a beautiful woodland clearing in north Norfolk, UK, catering for touring caravans, motorhomes and tents - a perfect venue for a relaxing holiday in the countryside!

The caravan park and camping site has a natural play area for children, a fishing lake, dog walks, two high-class shower/toilet blocks and an on-site shop.  You can come and enjoy cycling around quiet country lanes, trying to spot the local wild deer, fishing in our lake or peaceful walks.  Available locally are horse riding, swimming, tennis, gyms and cycle hire.

Camping on Muntjac Meadow

Enjoy carefree Norfolk camping, book a pitch on our extra campsite, Muntjac Meadow. This is a camping experience for the more traditional, seasoned camper or those who are seeking a more relaxed, 'no-frills' camping holiday.

This is available in 2011 from 1st August to 28th August inclusive, only. It is exclusively for camping tents and has no electric hook-ups.

Please Note:

Although every care is taken to ensure accuracy, please check details with the campsite prior to booking.
Please mention Touring and Tenting if you book or visit the campsite

We stayed at Deers Glade for 7 nights. Wife went to reception to get us booked in, Just in case i had to move the car. We were guided to our pitch by the owners daughter on her bike. Pitch was quite large.
Once pitched up we had a quick walk around to get localised with the facilities.
Both the toilets and shower blocks were immaculate.
The site was clean and tidy. We were in amongst other vanners and tents. The place had a good friendly feel to it.
But beware at night, you need a good torch. To me not enough lighting. But then again you don't want a lot of light if you in a tent....
Plenty of water points & waste water points.
Not much of a phone signal if you need to be in contact with the outside world, but they do have wifi....
We would gladly go again if holidaying in the area.
