i`ve always wanted to visit wales and late last year i decided to pick greenacres, because it is a haven site and i assumed it would match up with all the others myself and family have visited, sadly the directions to the site we were given from the booking form were not as they should of been and ended up blocking the road for a while in porthmadog till we got some local help.
on finally arriving to the site (not in the best of moods) we were greeted by a site warden who told us to find any pitch that was vacant ?.then once we got over a raised pedestrian crossing that stupidly high,we made our way to hopefully a nice pitch.

sadly others before us had been given the same information and they were either standing around like lost sheep or driving round in circles picking out one dry pitch.

due to the fact i was somewhat stressed from the journey and getting lost i took my chance and slipped onto a pitch that a few were thinking about.

the pitched were seriously well worn, although it was at the end of the season.

after finally setting up the caravan\awning etc,i could not help but notice young lads walking around with their hoods up checking the caravans?..instantly i thought this might not be a safe site to leave personal items on show.

the site does have its own swimming pool\bar cafes\take aways and entertianment.

we went out at night times and i personally found the entertainment 100%,but the bar staff insisted on persons showing their site passes each time they wanted a drink.

there is a beach within a few minutes walk at the back of the site,i did notice this beach was mainly used by dog walkers and a odd jet ski (possibly changes in the summer though).

i must admit the views we had whilst sitting the van were nice, the area is,i believe in the snowdonia national park region and the views were outstanding.
the area and site were better suited for lovers of walkers\climbers etc & not for the family looking for a fun time together.
