Description

Pen y Bont Touring Caravan and Campsite, is ideally located for Bala Lake, in the Snowdonia National Park and is a fantastic base for many of the areas outdoor activities and great days out. Alternatively you can just relax in the peaceful environment, take in the local scenery and enjoy the Beautiful Mountains, Lakes and Coastlines and many other Tourist Attractions close by.

Pen y Bont is a quiet and peaceful family run Park situated 100yds from Bala Lake in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. We have been awarded Four Stars by the Wales Tourist Board, Four Pennants by the AA and have been awarded the Top UK site for Watersports.

The Park offers it's visitors an excellent base to relax and unwind enjoy the environment and explore North Wales - Mountains and Coasts.

With it's natural surroundings the Park creates a tranquil and relaxed holiday environment and attracts customers seeking a quiet rural retreat.Generally we cater for small families, couples and single travellers, groups by prior arrangement only.

Bala's excellent outdoor culture attracts many worldwide visitors who come to experience sailing, canoeing, white-water rafting, wind surfing, climbing, walking, cycling, mountain biking, fishing, bird watching, the small gauge railway, 4x4 off road experiences, Paintball, High Ropes not forgetting to mention the beautiful scenery, the abundance of wildlife and stunning nearby coastlines.

Don't leave your dogs at home, they are part of your family and welcome on our park, they must however be kept on a lead or secured whilst on the park itself, though there are plenty of great dog walks just around the corner.

You can travel light as there is a well stocked shop/reception area catering for all your camping needs from tent pegs, airbeds & other accessories, to freshbread, milk, free range eggs, local cheese etc. Fresh BBQ meat (which can be kept cold in our reception fridge) and newspapers are also available to order. Calor gas and camping Gaz is available for purchase
