Gosfield Lake Resort is a private family run leisure park, set in the heart of rural Essex, close to Constable Country and right on the Essex Way. The 36 acre lake and surrounding countryside combine to create a natural beauty spot, where clear summer evenings give way to spectacular sunsets.

We are a family run touring caravan site in North West Essex. For 17 years we were a Caravan Club certificated location, but since 1997 we have been a licensed site for 15 touring caravans, with Uttlesford District Council. We have a quiet site situated on a working farm with easy access by a 70 feet wide gateway through the farmyard. The well maintained level pitches all have 240 volt electric 'hook-up'. There is a centrally located water tap, a dustbin area and fire point to one side and a chemical closet emptying point with tap away from the site and screened by a leylandi hedge.Trees and a mixed variety low hedge, screen the pitches from the road and farm buildings making it a safe site for families.  

With Clacton-on-Sea’s golden beaches, the famous Victorian pier, amusements, shopping, and the many exciting attractions close by, you will be spoilt for choice for things to do. Everyone will love this spacious Park with its fantastic indoor and outdoor pool complex! Plus, the kids will adore the adventure playground and Sparky’s Krew fun. Grab a takeaway and eat back at your caravan or enjoy a meal in the new Boathouse Restaurant.

Why not visit the beautiful Essex countryside and enjoy a relaxing drink in good company at the Huntsman and Hounds. The pub is a magnificent example of a 16th century thatched country pub set in lovely gardens. The pub boasts an excellent selection of well kept beers, wines and lagers, home cooked food is available 7 days a week, both lunchtimes and evenings.

Enjoy 7 uninterrupted miles of walking, swimming or sandcastle-making on the Essex Sunshine Coast, directly accessible from the Park. Clacton’s famous pier and seaside shops just a short drive away.

A smashing campsite, set within trees and within walking distance of the river. There are no facilities but the views and walks are lovely and the campsite is very well maintained. Open from 1st April till 30th September there are 20 level pitches for caravans and motorhomes, electric hook up and surrounded by farmland

Close to fantastic beaches and the fun-packed pier, enjoy fishing, golf and horse riding nearby, or drive inland to explore famous landmarks and visit Colchester Zoo. On the Park, relax with a drink in the Ocean Café Bar or chill out beside your caravan. The kids will love the indoor swimming pool and adventure playground.

Shopland Hall is a family run Equestrian Centre, surrounded by countryside yet only 5 minutes from Southend on Sea. First opened in November 1992, it has become a Riding School, Show Centre and Training Centre of some repute.
